I had seen quite a few posts on social media about a local eatery called Pajamas and Jam. The name alone intrigued me. As for the mouth-watering food photo's plastered on my Instagram feed, well, they only piqued my curiosity.
This eatery is situated in the Strand industrial area where they have turned a large warehouse into something quite magical. I was greeted by the smell of freshly baked bread and the sound of Jazz.
We were seated at a table with an array of antique chandeliers dangling above our heads, all with price-tags attached. Pajamas & Jam are open for breakfast and lunch and change up the menu regularly, so you can always expect something new, and delicious.
After your meal or with your cup of tea, you can have a browse for treasures sold around the eatery. They sell antiques, freshly baked goods, jams, fresh flowers, beautiful straw hats and baskets. Such as the one below, which I use to store blankets in my living room when it's not being used for picnics.
My breakfast and freshly squeezed juice was mouth-watering and they don't hold back on the portion sizes. I will definitely be returning to try out their lunch menu. If you need any more convincing, take a look at their beautiful Instagram feed.
